Sonic Dash is made in three-dimensional graphics. The game also has three levels – Beach, Temple and Seaside Hill, which differ in location. The main task at all levels is to collect gold rings. You can use the collected rings as a currency in the store, spending them on various bonuses or as a way of protection. You will lose all the collected rings if the hero encounters at least one bomb or a set of spikes. The game will end if you touch an obstacle without a single ring. However, from some obstacles, such as bottomless pits, the rings can not save the character. At certain points, the player may encounter sources from which the rings will be automatically collected. Having successfully performed a combination of four tricks, the protagonist will be able to increase the number of rings.

At each level of the game, the player meets the badniks. These are robots in the form of various animals that work from the energy of captive animals. Destroying badniks, you get animals, which you can use to unlock new buildings. You also need to collect precious blue stones to be able to build buildings. As your character approaches one of the highest scores, a countdown appears on the side of the screen to show how many points are left before the best score is exceeded. So players get into the ranking table.
